Born in Chicago, Ronda Robinson moved to Phoenix at age 2. Ronda attended High school in Phoenix and Scottsdale, college in Tucson at the University of Arizona and graduated with a BS in Merchandising and Marketing (go Wildcats), and also completed paralegal training at the University of San Diego.
She has one younger brother who lives in Scottsdale with his family. Her mom still resides in Phoenix. After her father passed away in 2012 from cancer, Ronda has been involved with the Susan G. Komen Dallas Cancer 3-day walk and enjoys the training involved in the preparation of that annual event. Ronda also enjoys exercising at Orange Theory Fitness to help keep her active.
Ronda met her husband, Roger, when she moved to Dallas from Phoenix and has lived in Dallas for 32 years. Roger works as a bus driver for PISD during the week, and on Saturdays, he drives for The Legacy Senior Communities. They have one grown son, Aaron. Aaron is a full-time registered nurse at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas and works part-time at Cook Children’s Hospital in Fort Worth. Ronda’s daughter-in-law, Smith (yes, that is her first name), runs her own business, “EverythingSmitten.com,” which provides photography for weddings, family portraits, and other events, along with calligraphy for wedding invitations, and the like. Ronda is very proud of her family, and family always comes first.
Ronda works part-time for Larry as his marketing assistant and just celebrated her 15 year anniversary with Hance Law Group. She finds her work to be very rewarding. Ronda also serves as Executive Director of Collaborative Divorce Texas, and is encouraged to see more couples utilizing the collaborative divorce approach as a resolution process that is more private, custom-tailored to the parties’ needs, and far less damaging than the litigation process. On a personal note, Ronda enjoys following the royal family, shopping (no matter the season), and prefers a white beach and blue water for vacation. Ronda believes that life changes and nothing is a given, so it makes sense that one of her favorite quotes would be, “Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass…it’s about learning to dance in the rain…”
