This month Hance Law profiles Suzanne Hajdu, Office Administrator. For more than 16 years Suzanne has managed the business side of the firm and continues to keep the entire office running smoothly on all fronts. She also manages the firm’s IT systems, case management software, and was instrumental in the implementation of becoming “paperless” several years ago. In addition to being environmentally friendly, Suzanne says, “We can get twice as much done every day.” As for her coworkers, they appreciate Suzanne’s consistent attention to detail, which equips them to care for all clients efficiently.

Suzanne and her husband John, residents of Rockwall, will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary in June. Their children—Tanner, 21, and Kennedy, 20— attend Texas Tech University. Being an empty nester was difficult in the beginning, but Suzanne and John have adjusted to their new normal and really cherish the time that they get to spend together as a family.  Their three dogs keep their home from feeling too empty.

In her free time, Suzanne enjoys listening to music, going to concerts, reading and hanging out with her friends. In the summer, relaxing under an umbrella and watching the waves at the beach is a favorite vacation. As fall arrives and the weather cools, Suzanne and John love camping. Being outside in the fresh air, cooking out, and sitting around a campfire remind Suzanne of one of her favorite quotes: Time you enjoyed wasting is not wasted time.
